Michael has been working at Albion Stone since 1983 and took over the role of MD from his father in 1991.  He has overseen a major change in the company from a quarrying business with works in London to now a major mining operation and one of the largest and most technically advanced masonry operations in the UK. 

Michael is on the executive committee, technical committee, Sustainability and ethnical sourcing committee and Quarry forum at the Stone Federation and is also the Mineral Products Association representative at Euroroc, English Stone Forum and the BS545 Natural Stone Committee.
