Hannah initiated the first stone carving courses as part of Tout Quarry Sculpture Park in 1983 and subsequently worked with 50 Higher Education institutions; also writing and delivering validated elective courses for students from 21 departments and 5 Faculties of the University of Brighton; applying the concept of a ‘Living Land Archive’ as an interdisciplinary model for quarry regeneration developed through the Mineral Industry Sustainable Technology Programme 2003 - 2007 (MIST/DEFRA).  She is also a member of Worshipful Company of Masons and an observer on their training committee.
