Darren is a founding director and stone specialist at FMDC, a facades and materials design consultancy.  A Chartered Geologist, Darren works closely with Developers, Architects, Main Contractors and Sub-contractors on a variety of retail, high end residential and office developments, where natural stone is used for external cladding, high tech interior fit-outs and landscaping.  Darren is passionate about teaching designers and developers about how to select the correct stone and sharing and applying his technical knowledge to low carbon design.
