The City and Guilds of London Art School is not-for-profit, with a mission to foster excellence in Historic Carving, Fine Art, and the Conservation of cultural objects. From October 2019, the Carving Department will offer degree courses in Architectural Stone Carving and Woodcarving and Gilding -  the UK's only BA (Hons) degree in the subject. Both pathways benefit from our extensive existing links to the industry and a range of live projects and commissions. Students on this course are offered unparalleled opportunities to develop their knowledge and skills as well as their professional experience and networks.  The Art School's resources are generous, offering every student their own working space and access to a range of specialist facilities. We are committed to providing high levels of contact time with active professionals and experts, well above the UK national average.
