The Village will return to its prime position at the centre of the exhibition and will continue to reflect the renaissance in British stone that has taken place over the last 15 years with the UK’s premier stone producers, consultancies and masonry companies supporting it.
There will be a dedicated help desk, where architects, designers and developers, as well as builders and the stone industry itself can find the answers to their questions and all aspects of stone selection, fixing and maintenance.
A series of live demonstrations is also planned to showcase the stonemasonry skills which the Federation does so much to champion, whilst a number of training initiatives will also be presented through affiliated colleges.
The launch of RODSIS and the Register of Stonemasons/Heritage Stonemasons is also planned and experts will be on hand to explain the implications of CE Marking for the industry.
