ExCeL is the UK's premier exhibition venue hosting eight of London's top 10 trade events and located within two hours drive of half of the visitors that register for any trade show in the UK.

Situated just 10 minutes from Europe's fastest growing business district Canary Wharf, ExCeL is ideally placed to take advantage of the shifting balance of investment, jobs and infrastructure to London's eastside.

Momentum for this 'New London' is being provided through the construction of the Olympic Park and the £1.5 billion re-development of the Royal Dock, both of which lie directly adjacent to ExCeL. These projects form just two components of Europe's largest regeneration scheme - the Thames Gateway. Stretching east from London's Tower Bridge to the mouth of the Thames, the project aims to create 160,000 new homes and 225,000 new jobs by 2016 with the Government committed to transforming the Gateway with £9 billion of investment by 2011.

Keen to take advantage of this bright future, ExCeL has begun adding 32,500m² of flat-floor event space through an extension to its east wing, due to be completed by early 2011.

The Campus

There are 6 on-site hotels all within a few minutes walk of our exhibition halls, allowing you more time to relax before and after the show. Alternatively, if you prefer a home from home you can stay at one of ExCeL's luxury serviced flats through Fox Apartments.

There is also plenty to do after hours on the ExCeL campus with a good mix of bars, pubs, cafes and restaurants to make your visit to our venue fun and enjoyable. Why not take a client out to the new Italian bistro Zero Sette or for a drink at the Fox bar, which is split over three floors in a funky, converted warehouse.
