Authenticity and appearance when repairing historic buildings

Taking place in the stunning South Gallery rooms overlooking the Royal Victoria Dock at ExCeL, London, the Conservation Day is been organised in conjunction with Historic England and the English Stone Forum.

Your Natural Stone Show visitor badge will permit entry into the Conservation Day and all sessions are free to attend with no pre-booking required.

The day begins with the launch of the Stone Federation Heritage Register.

The morning session is then hosted by the English Stone Forum and examines the issues of authenticity and appearance when repairing historic buildings.

During the afternoon Historic England offers an overview of some recent developments in stone conservation, including updates from recent research projects.
